Last night Gert's homework was to make a pattern necklace out of food. You know, pasta, Cheerios, Froot Loops, etc. She made a nice little piece of jewelry.
This morning she was wearing her necklace while getting ready for the bus. I looked over had her and she was chewing off a Froot Loop.
"What are you doing?"
"I didn't like how the pattern worked, so I took one Froot Loop off. Then it wasn't a pattern! I had to eat it!"
"You're eating your homework!"
Explain that to your teacher. But, really, it's her fault. You cannot put a sugary food in front of my daughter and expect it to survive. She's like a sugar consumption machine.
