I think Greg is hurt deep down inside because he hasn't come to terms that the best years of his career were stolen from him because of that hunting accident. I was watching a OLN bio of him and it was interesting to hear him come back to the accident and it's effects over and over again. Until he finally faces that and comes to terms with it I think he'll sound the bitter old man of American cycling.
